How to Apply for the Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana?
Offline Application
The application process is completely free. Applicants must be present in person to complete the application, which includes taking a photograph and completing the e-KYC process. Applicants should bring their family identification card (ration card) and Aadhaar card.
Online Application via Mobile App
You can apply online using the state government’s ‘Narishakti Doot’ mobile app. Follow these steps to complete the application process:
Download and Install the App
- Go to the Google Play Store and download the Narishakti Doot app.
Enter Mobile Number
- Enter the mobile number of the applicant and accept the terms and conditions. Click on the login option.
Verify Mobile Number
- An OTP will be sent to the provided mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify.
Allow Permissions
- Allow the required permissions as prompted by the app.
Complete Profile
- Click on ‘Fill in your information here’ and enter the applicant’s full name, email ID (if any), district, taluka, and the type of Narishakti (general woman, self-help group leader, or Anganwadi worker). Choose ‘general woman’ if applicable.
Select Scheme
- Click on the ‘Narishakti Doot’ option, then select ‘Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana.’
Fill Out the Form
- Complete the form by entering the applicant’s full name (as per Aadhaar), husband’s or father’s name, date of birth, birthplace, district, taluka, village, panchayat, pin code, full address, mobile number, and Aadhaar card number.
Answer Additional Questions
- Indicate whether the applicant benefits from other government schemes like PM Kisan Yojana or pension schemes. Specify the benefit amount if applicable.
Provide Marital Status
- Select the appropriate marital status (unmarried, married, widow, abandoned, destitute, or divorced).
Bank Details
- Enter the bank details: bank name, account holder name, account number, and IFSC code. Confirm if the Aadhaar number is linked to the bank account.
Upload Documents
- Upload the required documents: Aadhaar card, residence proof (15-year-old ration card, voter ID, school leaving certificate, or birth certificate), self-declaration, income certificate (if available), bank passbook photo, and a live photo of the applicant.
Review and Submit
- Review the entered information and click on ‘Submit.’
Track Application Status
- Check the status of your application under the ‘Submitted Applications’ section. The application number and status (pending or accepted) will be displayed. After acceptance, the first installment will be disbursed.
Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana
- Residence: The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra.
- Marital Status: Married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, or destitute women are eligible.
- Age: The applicant must be between 21 to 65 years old.

Scheme Updates
- The age requirement has been relaxed to 21-65 years.
- The application deadline has been extended to August 31, 2024.

- Residence proof is not mandatory if the applicant has a 15-year-old ration card, voter ID, school leaving certificate, or birth certificate.
- Women from other states married to men with Maharashtra residency can submit their husband’s birth certificate or school leaving certificate.
