Madras University Free Education Scheme 2022: The University of Madras has introduced the free education scheme for those who are interested to pursue undergraduate programmes in arts and sciences for the academic year 2022-23. The main aim for the scheme to give free education for those who are interested in higher studies, but they did not do their higher studies due to family income, for those they can use this scheme. Students who done their +2 examination at their first attempt they are eligible to apply for UNOM free education scheme.
For each college there are 3 seats are allotted for Madras University UG free education scheme. In the scheme they should have some instructions and some eligibility conditions that are given below. In ever year candidates should apply for Madras University degree free education scheme is within 15 days from publication of the Plus Two Result/Marks as the last date. For this scheme candidates should submit proper application form, otherwise the form will not be accepted. Those who are selected for this Madras University free education scheme 2022-23 they can get admission in to Under Graduate Programme in Aided and Self-Financing Colleges affiliated to University of Madras.

Candidates should appear +2 examination or its equivalent degree during the current academic year i.e. 2021-2022.
The students should have passed all subjects in first attempt.
Category wise Madras University Free Education Scheme 2022
CATEGORY (i) : 1/3rd of the seats for Widow’s Children / Widower’s Children / Orphan / Destitute children based on the marks obtained in Major subjects.
CATEGORY (ii): 1/3rd of the seats for First Graduate / Disabled / Transgender students based on the marks obtained in Major subjects.
CATEGORY (iii): 1/3rd of the seats for Merit students who had obtained 80% of marks in the Major subjects.

First Graduate Certificate (FG) issued by Tahsildar (if applicable)
Differently Abled (DA) Certificate issued by Differently Abled Welfare Office / Government of India (if applicable)
Father / Mother Death Certificate issued by Corporation, etc. (if applicable).
