The Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (Chief Minister’s Meritorious Student Scheme) was initiated by the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The Madhya Pradesh government will provide scholarships to financially weak students who have passed 12th grade and wish to pursue further studies. Eligible and interested candidates can apply to benefit from this scheme. This is an ambitious program run by the Madhya Pradesh government for the students of the state.
Objective of Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana 2025
The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance for higher education to economically disadvantaged students in Madhya Pradesh. Under the Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana, students who score 70% or more in the 12th grade exam (conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education), or those who obtain 85% or more in CBSE/ICSE exams, are granted a fee waiver when they enroll in higher education courses. Additionally, these students are also provided with financial assistance.

- If you take the JEE Mains exam for engineering studies and secure a rank within 150,000, you can gain admission to a government engineering college. There, you’ll have the opportunity to study with full fees covered or with grants. You’ll also receive a waiver on admission fees and financial assistance.
- For medical studies, you can pursue MBBS/BDS through the NEET exam at state or central government medical colleges. You can also seek admission to institutions run by the Government of India where entrance exams are conducted for MBBS courses.
- For law studies, you can seek admission through CLAT or other national universities, or Delhi University.
- You can gain admission to any graduate or postgraduate programs in all universities or institutions run by the Government of India.
- You can seek admission to all government and grant-aided colleges, universities, or polytechnic colleges run by the Madhya Pradesh government.
Eligibility Criteria
- The student is a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- The income of the father/guardian of the student is less than Rs.6.00 lakh.
- The student has secured 70% or more marks in the 12th examination conducted by the Board of Secondary education or 85% or more marks in the 12th examination conducted by the CBSE/ICSE.
- Student’s Entrance Exam Information (Whichever is applicable) (i) Has secured a rank up to 1 lakh 50 thousand in JEE Mains examination and has taken admission in BE/B.Tech course. (ii) Have taken National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to MBBS/BDS course. (iii) Have taken admission in law course through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). (iv) Have taken admission in the medical institutions conducting MBBS/BDS courses of the Central Government on the basis of other entrance examinations. (v) has taken admission to a law course at the National Law Institute, New Delhi, or the University of Delhi, New Delhi on the basis of his/her own entrance examination.

- Now choose “REGISTER FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-25(FRESH/RENEWAL)”.
- After clicking on this, a new page will open in front of you.
- Now log in to the “MMVY Portal Login” using your Samagra ID.
- The “MMVY Registration Form” will now open before you.
- After this, you need to carefully fill in the required information in this form.
