PM Kisan Latest News: Aurangabad Farmers Get 21st Samman Nidhi Installment Under PMKY

Jagran correspondent, Aurangabad. One lakh 78 thousand 451 farmers of the district have been given Rs 2000 in their accounts as the 21st instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. District Agriculture Officer Sandeep Raj said that under this scheme, six thousand rupees are given to farmers in three instalments in a year.

Farmers watched the live telecast of the program in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the amount through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in the accounts of farmers across the country. The Prime Minister also inaugurated the South India Natural Farming Conference. During the program organised at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Siris, KVK scientists gave various technical suggestions related to the Rabi season to the farmers.

Agricultural expert Pankaj Kumar Sinha provided detailed information on scientific cultivation of Rabi crops, pest and disease management, and balanced fertiliser use. He emphasised methods to reduce farming costs and increase production. Dr. Pratibha Kumari highlighted the importance of crop residue management, advocating against stubble burning. She also provided information on safe residue management techniques.

Agricultural scientist Dr. Vinay Kumar Mandal educated farmers on the benefits of natural farming, soil health conservation, and the growing importance of chemical-free farming. Dr. Ashutosh Kumar highlighted the need to select improved varieties for better production and informed farmers about newly released wheat varieties suitable for the current Rabi season.

On this occasion, KVK scientists addressed various problems faced by farmers and provided scientific, practical, and locally specific advice. The program concluded with a technical discussion, question-and-answer session, and awareness dialogue among farmers.
